The NSW Government is reimagining the iconic site of Sydney Fish Markets (and the surrounding Bays Precinct) to create a Sydney Fish Market for the future with world-class facilities; Sydney’s most significant harbourside building since the Opera House.  The new Sydney Fish Market will attract global attention, with visitation expected to double to over six million people annually.

Designed by renowned architects 3XN in association with BVN and Aspect, DJC has been engaged as the Project Manager overseeing the following four sites:

Peter’s (Sydney Fish Market)

Nicholas Seafood (Traders)

Blackwattle Deli

Fishermans Fine Wine – The Bottleshop.

With the base building underway with Multiplex and Infrastructure NSW, the team at DJC is leading the design and construction for all four sites. Navigating the fitout guidelines and various stakeholders on the base building, DJC is working to commence construction in late 2024. With a black-out period in January 2025, the relocation of the four shops is scheduled to take place in February 2025.
