Services
With over 90+ years’ experience in the construction industry, the DJC team has successfully provided project management services for Australian and international clients with varying budgets, up to $150 million.
The core philosophy of the DJC team is to ensure that clients receive service levels that exceed their expectations. This is achieved by limiting the number of clients serviced at any given time, enabling the team to focus on delivering excellence and effectively manage project fluctuations.
We are renowned for our unwavering commitment to advocacy for our clients, leading to a portfolio filled with repeat business.
Project Management
At DJC, we understand that while project management is methodological – with every project having specific needs, required outcomes, and a clear purpose – no two projects are the same.
We take time to understand the challenges, complexity, and nuances of each project, and to resource each one with the Project Manager who has the right background, expertise, and fit.
We provide decisive, hands-on leadership at all stages of a project – from inception and briefing, through design, planning, procurement, delivery, and completion.
Superintendent Services
By acting as the primary point of contact between contractors, clients, and project stakeholders, we ensure that construction activities proceed smoothly, on time, and within budget while also handling issues or challenges that arise during the construction process, working to resolve them efficiently to keep the project on track.
In addition to our strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations and expertise in project management, our Superintendents possess the communication, leadership abilities and problem-solving experience to address unforeseen challenges swiftly to ensure project continuity.
Contract Administration
In certain situations – such as when there is the need for impartial oversight or to manage a real or perceived conflict of interest — clients may prefer an independent Contract Administrator.
An independent contract administration can also ensure that the Project Manager’s focus remains on the core project management activities and helps to mitigate risks associated with contract disputes and non-compliance issues.
DJC’s contract administration experience includes managing contract documentation, monitoring performance, handling changes and modifications, resolving disputes, and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Technical Due Diligence
Technical due diligence aims to provide stakeholders such as investors, lenders, or project sponsors – with a thorough understanding of the project’s technical capabilities, strengths, weaknesses, and potential areas of improvement or optimisation.
There are a myriad of reasons and aspects of a project that may require a technical due diligence review including budget, methodology, design, program etc.
DJC’s vast experience across the board means they are able to review the project documentation in its entirety and quickly identify the project’s overall status, including any pinch points and connect with their extensive network in order to provide an informed and objective analysis to stakeholders.
